Board Member Ted Walker

TedTed Walker

Ted Walker has been a participant in local education issues for over 20 years. This includes 8 years as a Twin Hills Union School Board Trustee, including three years as Board President. Ted received his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health from Chico State University and began his career in the field of Environmental Health in 1976. He retired a few years ago from the Sonoma County Permit Resource Management Department. His specialty is in Land Use, Onsite Wastewater, and Water Quality. Ted has been a long time member of the California Environmental Health Association. Ted has been married to his wife Leah for over 26 years, who is a manager for the California Department of Public Health. Their son Matt is a graduate from Analy High School, and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Washington in Aerospace Engineering.
Ted believes that as educators, we need to prepare our students to be well rounded and resourceful adults, academically successful, and to become lifelong learners as they go out into the world. As active community members, you can participate and be mentors to our youth.
